Reflexology

Reflexology. It’s not just about the feet.
Did you know reflexology is not just about the feet; it can also be applied to the hands, face and ears. Reflexology is a form of alternative medicine that involves applying pressure to specific reflex points on the feet, hands, face or ears. These reflex points are believed to correspond to different organs, glands, and systems in the body.
Deb and Helen have trained with some of the world’s leading experts in their field of reflexology and consistently update their skills with regular Continuing Professional Development to bring you the very best results in their treatments.
Hand Reflexology
Hand reflexology is a specialized form of reflexology that focuses on stimulating specific reflex points on the hands.
Hand reflexology shares similar principles with foot reflexology, which is more widely known and practiced. Both forms of reflexology are based on the concept that the body's organs and systems are interconnected through energy channels, and by working on specific reflex points, practitioners can influence the body's natural healing abilities.
In hand reflexology, we use our thumbs, fingers, and hands to apply gentle pressure or massage techniques to the hands' reflex points. The hands are easily accessible, making hand reflexology a convenient self-care technique that can be practiced anytime and anywhere.
Deb and Helen’s next Hand Reflexology CPD course will be taken with the world renowned Louise Keet in 2024.
Facial
Reflexology
Deb and Helen have trained in Facial Reflexology and Zone Face Lift with reflexologist to the stars, Ziggie Bergman. Facial Reflexology works on the same principles, but the treatment takes place on your face and head. This non-invasive treatment is based on the theory that areas on your face are connected to areas of your body, and stimulating them improves underlying energy imbalances which promotes wellbeing. The proximity of the face to the brain is key to the effectiveness of this original therapy.
Facial Reflexology aims to help your entire body function at it's optimal level...with one side effect...a younger, radiant and glowing complexion. You'll notice the benefits after the very first session, and many of our clients decide to make Facial Reflexology a regular treatment.
Deb and Helen have received further training from Ziggie and can offer further facial treatments, including hot herbal compresses, facial cupping and gua sha.
Auricular (Ear) Reflexology
Helen has trained with world expert Karen Middleton in New Zealand. Auricular reflexology, also known as auriculotherapy or ear reflexology, is a specialized form of alternative therapy that involves stimulating specific points on the external ear. Helen is also trained in the application of ear seeds so you can experience the effects of reflexology long after you have left the treatment room.
Deb is hoping to complete this training in 2024.
